Stripes and crochet

Top: Charity shop| Shorts: Vintage| Shoes: Charity shop| Bracelet: Vintage

With all this sun I though it was a perfect excuse to get my pale legs out for a little "tanning" (or should I say constantly applying my factor 40, whilst I desperately search for shade), alas I will never be the bronzed goddess I wish to be.

These shorts have a little story behind them, they were the first piece of clothing my mum ever brought from Dorthy Perkins, and by the label, a very long time ago. They were once baggy ankle bashers (not like any of these skinny Topshop ones). I found them and cut them for fancy dress as a pirate a few years ago, and recently I rediscovered them at the bottom of my draws! Cut a little more, and hemmed (with some straighteners) , and voilĂ , they are the perfect summer shorts! I found these identical ones from Topshop.

This top is something I haven't worn on the blog before, an old favourite of mine. The story is, I went into town searching for the perfect crochet top, there were a few in Zara where I was working at the time but decided to have a look into some charity shops near by. And there she was, hanging there, looking at me this beauty from Marks and Spencers, and for only £1,99 she was mine!

Tuesday

Sunny days

Dress: London Market | Shoes: Primark

I really cannot keep away from the raspberry theme in my blog posts! There are just so many in my garden at the moment! It was such a lovely day today and only having work til 2: 30 was even better! This was something I threw on after I got back, it was too gorgeous not to be in the garden so I thought I would take some photos. I really hope this weather sticks around, this is more like the summer we all love and know!
And great news that my boyfriend hass got a place in Bristol near Gloucester Road, so that will be my new home away from home!

Raspberry & white chocolate cake

A lovely light summery cake, perfect with a cup of tea. Super easy to make, and no scales needed either! You use the empty yoghurt pot as the measurements. How much easier do you want to make it! No method either, just chuck it all in and mix.
I  used fresh raspberries from my garden. Oh how I love the summer.

Raspberry & white chocolate yoghurt cake

200g Raspberry and Cranberry Muller Light Yoghurt
3 Pots self raising flour
1 pot vegetable oil
3 eggs
150g white chocolate roughly chopped
150g fresh raspberries
2 pots caster sugar
Gas Mark 4
Bake for 25 mins
(I also used the Hummingbird cream cheese recipe for the topping)

Coral, Raspberry and Snow

Jeans: Primark | Top: My sisters from a Parisian flea market | Shoes: New Look| Earrings: Accessorize

Hello, been a while again! My sister was back for a few days and like always we got excited about having new clothes in the house, so we swapped. I fell in love with this shirt, it is such a nice material and the colour.. is gorgeous! As for the shoes, has anyone found these flatforms in New Look, they are so comfy and they are cheaper than all the other flats in there! It is incredible, they look really hard wearing and hopefully they will last a long time! I was also eyeing up these earrings for weeks! Then I saw them in the sale, I had to buy them and at £3..how could I resist these art deco beautys!

I've been so busy again, searching for places for my boyfriend in Bristol, it has been weeks but I think we have found something in Redlands, Bristol nr Gloucester road (if anyone has any favourite shops/cafes restaurants around there please tell me!)
I have also applied for a seasonaire job in France. So hopefully this Winter I will snowboarding on the slopes of the French Alps :)

(a little preview of the cake I shall be posting about tomorrow!)
