Dip dye

1/ Well I have been very MIA on my blog! Everything's been real hectic with work and the fact my course is finishing in two weeks! I have had no time to catch up with blogs, I am dreading checking my Bloglovin!

2/ Last night I pretty much tie dyed my whole wardrobe, I am a vision in tie dye! I got slightly carried away to say the least..
I brought the dye (ocean blue from Dylon) to tie dye a tee for my boyfriends birthday! (Will try and get a photo of him in it cause it looks dope! ) Firstly I experimented with the colour by dip dyeing this vest top. It's so easy to do! easier than actual tie dying! It's also so in I've seen so many dip dyed clothes in Topshop and Zara I knew I had to give it a go myself... and here is the result. I think it looks pretty good for my first attempt! (the word dye is also starting to look more and more wrong the more I type it!ahh help!)

Necklace loving

 1/ A little necklace loving this week! I got these both from Miss Selfridge for £1, Miss Selfridge sales are always the best! The top one was a bit tangled but I managed to untangle it, and the bottom one actually said it was a hairband but looked so much better as a necklace, I really cannot imagine anyone wearing this on their head, I tried it on and it looked ridiculous! I love these two necklaces, and have been wearing them non stop since I brought them!

2/ I've been so busy with my art recently, after finding out that I only have 3 weeks left of my course and then realising I hadn't actually brought a sketchbook, I needed to get on it! This consequently resulted in me mainly reading blogs and not actually doing any myself! So thanks for all keeping me entertained!

3/ SO..after the 8th of May I am going to go blogging mad! (watch out!) gonna sort everything out and me and my friend might start our own little online shop! And I'm going to start saving for Bristol! Please let me know if you know some lovely Bristol blogs or if you are from Bristol and want to meet as I will be lonely when my boyfriend goes skating, If you like tea, charity shops, and cats, let me know!

Collars and Tips

 Collar tips: Ebay | Shirt: Charity shop (Oxfam) | Skirt: Primark | Shoes: River Island

1/ Had a lovely Easter weekend eating lots of chocolate and relaxing with my sister, we watched lots of films, well 2, but that is more than usual! The Last King of Scotland, was intense but amazing, and Coco before Chanel was as lovely as ever. Was great to spend time with my sister, I never seem to see my sisters very often, they both live so far away :( 

2/ My collar tips finally arrived after about 16 (billion) days of waiting after they got dispatched. I threw them on straight away, they are a bit big but I managed to fold down the collar ends to fit them on. I really think they complete an outfit. I often forget to wear jewellery so they add a nice touch and give an edge to a simple outfit, I am looking forward to fitting them onto more of my shirts.

Scones and Recipe Books

1/ I made these scones for my sister who is coming home four days, I thought seeing as she hasn't been in Devon for a while I thought I would make something with a nostalgic feel to welcome her home. I love making them, especially as if there is any leftover dough it tastes so good and reminds me of when I used to make them with my mum.

2/ The recipe if from the Cranks Cookbook, It's a very old book, as you can see! It has been a huge part of my childhood baking all the yummy recipes from it. I love the feel of used recipe books, this one is covered in flour but I think adds to the character!
There are lots of arguments about which way the jam and cream goes on a scone! Which way do you do it?

Pleats and Converse

1/ The skirt came in the post this morning and as soon as it came I had  to put it on! I adore the colour, I've definitely gotten over my stage of buying all things back! After all this sun I think I was feeling very summery when I ordered the skirt.

I never usually wear my converse but I thought they would dress the skirt down a bit. Excuse them for being so dirty! I got them so long ago but I have totally revived them, what do you think?

2/ I went to town and got my nose pierced I am so not looking foward to Paul forgetting I have it and doing something silly or even me doing something stupid like hitting my face! Also brought some new nail varnish, from accessorize one called "Fudge" and a sparkly one which I dont know the name of, but they look pretty together! Oh, and it's hailing, after all these sun, it's a horrible shock!
