Scalloped shirt: Primark

The top im wearing, is meant to be a dress, as its from the Kids section, yeah thats right I still fit a 164cm in h&m kids (just)

All found on asos
These colours are totally off the colour scheme of my outfit post, but it really caught my attention. I recently brought this green clutch  as im trying to steer away from black, or if I do wear it, have some kind of colour! I seem to always wear black jeans with a black jumper my only way to get round the black is to add a collar. (even my boyfriend noticed my obbsession with collars!)
(ps eek on the outfit post and my pose face being on the internet! :/)

Fredflare & How to get around giving up cakes for lent

After this amazingly sunny weekend, I've been thinking about festivals, travelling and holidays! On one of my favourite websites: Fredflare I was searching for summer accessories, they have it all, ready for your summer plans.

1. Dixie Straw Hat. Perfect for a day in the sun, at a picnic in the park or just in the garden
2.Charlie Sunglasses. Retro tortoiseshell frames for a vintage inspired look.
3, The Jeffrey Campbell Lace Lita Platform Boots are literally incredible and I think these would look great in the summer teamed with a floral maxi dress, I think I would even wear them with my pajamas because they make every outfit!
4. Given up cakes for lent? try this alternative, now you can have raspberry cream tart, cream tart, chocolate cream puff, and yummy strawberry cream tart.on your lips all day long. say good bye to 'A moment on the lips, a lifetime on the hips' just sweet smelling lipgloss!
(These are going for $20, but I got these exact 4set for 99p each in a conershop in Cornwall)

Sunday

Only those who are prepared...

Dress: H&M
Stole: Accessorize
Cardigan:Vintage
Coat: Primark
Trying out my new Nikon, on a beautiful day was so much fun! I went on a little walk with Paul, then met some friends and went to a pub and, sat right on the edge of the river and had a cider or two. I love where I live, it is so beautiful in the sun!
I also went to Cardiff on Friday visiting a friend at uni, I've only ever been when it's been lovely weather so I always have a great impression of the place, I love it!.
We went to La Tasca the next day. I've never been, or even had tapas before. I'ts great if you're indecisive
because you can choose more than more dish as they are quite small dishes. I had chicken croquettes with an amazing garlic sauce, vegetable paella and a ham & pear salad. It was the perfect hangover cur. Need to find a cheap deal for it (let me know if any of you guys have seen one recently!)

Thrifting

This is just a little photo of the sequined top (above) I found it in a charity shop, it reminded me of this Topshop cami which I have been eyeing up for a good few months but is now out of stock :( This was the only decent piece of clothing I found on my charity shop crawl! £3.99

I also found "A Thousand Splendid Suns" by Khaled Hosseini, which I have already read whilst I was travelling but finished and therefore had to leave it in Germany.£1.00

I found this book called "Mr Pip" by Lloyd Jones, talk about judging a book by its cover.. I  fell in love with the design on the front, read the blurb and decided to buy it, I've started reading it and I cant put it down! 75p

These great sunnies were my last find on my way home in a shop called "Frock Off" which salvages clothes from recycling centres its great and full of lovely vintage clothes! I saw a huge, cosy fur coat for £24 but I feel its too late to buy winter coats! (need to start thing bikinis and **sunnies*** so it seems)

and this song..

A little taste of summer

It's been such glorious weather lately it's been making me think about the sunnier times to come (or not, seeing as this is England we're talking about, but we can only hope)

When I think of summer, I think of sunny mornings on my patio eating breakfast and making fruit smoothies. I've always wanted one of these mini blenders, I see Jamie Oliver use his for almost everything he does on his Thirty Minute meals, and look how cute this one from Next is! check those hearts on the side!

Smoothies would look great in these colourful glasses. The pastel colour is just so lovely and goes so well in Next's Modern Vintage collection. The name 'soda glasses' seems so appropriate and perfect for summer. They can also can add a splash of colour to brighten up any dull, rainy day! Or would look great in a monochrome styled kitchen.

To make the perfect in-season smoothie..

Ingredients:
1 Banana/Melon/Mango
140g blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, blueberries (or frozen fruits)
Apple juice or Milk (depending if you want it creamier or not)
Honey
A hint of lime juice
Method:
Whiz everything together until its the consistency you like. Chuck some extra fruit on top and a drizzle of honey  to serve.(Goes really well  with a bowl of Granola and yogurt)
(from bbc good food)

Recipe of the week: Cinnamon and Raisin Loaf

So I made this twice this week, one, because it was so good! I love cinnamon and two, the first time I forgot to marble the mixture so it didn't look as pretty for a photo. It did burn a little on the top (oops) but it still tastes delicious! I also went charity shopping yesterday, brought a few interesting books, and a top which I will do a post about soon! Hope everyone has a lovely day! Anything you have been baking recently?
Also just won a Nikon D40 on Ebay UK, does anyone have one, I have no idea what to expect!

Friday

Tuesday

St. Valentine

Me and Paul went for a walk at the seaside today, we took the dogs on the train, we were a bit skeptical about it cause of how hyper Bobby (the collie) is, Sky (the lurcher) is never a problem she is always very chilled, and never phased by much, apart from birds and cats! We walked all along the beach and then sat in a park overlooking the sea to eat our picnic. I brought a flask with hot chocolate in, which really hit the spot as it was very cold! Dont you just love the flask! so kitsch! (think its my sisters! sorry if your'e reading it and want it back!)I also look very wind swept ( and not so interesting) so please excuse this!
Currently writing this next to the fire with some kettle crisps and a bottle of wine, perfect end to a perfect day. What did you all get up to today?

Brandy Melville Loves Milano

A little valentines day inspiration from Brandy Melville. I love the neutral colours and the  romantic the waves in her hair. I mentioned them earlier on sunday, I came across the little shop as I was wondering around the streets of Milan looking for somwhere to eat, I saw it and just had to go in! I ended up buying a Bob Dylan vest top, which  I wore alot for the last week of my trip before I had to go home...sob,sob!
I have posted hardly anything about my trip around Europe so I may do a little post soon.

This is me in Brandy Melville's top roaming around Milan!
