My friend Briana was fortunate enough to win the Google hangout with Fearne Cotton and get selected to win tickets to her Very fashion show in London. I was very excited when she asked me to join her.
We spent the day wondering around London doing typical blogger things; taking photos in the street and eating cupcakes. We were then met by Very's PR and taken for a cocktail in Mayfair before arriving at Claridges for plenty more cocktails and canapes.
Fearne said she imagined her new S/S13 line to be worn by a 'classic English rose in a beautiful country garden', but she wanted her to have a bit of an edge. And the ballroom fully reflected this, as soon as you stepped in, it transported you to a beautiful springs day full of gorgeous flowers, decorated to perfection.
I loved every piece of her collection, I particularly liked the floaty, floral midi dresses and a twist on a classic, a tailored beige mac with chintzy print cuffs. I definitely think I will be buying a few of her designs when they come out. In the mean time this is her A/W collection on Very, (probably alot more appropriate for this coming winter)
(p.s) note: the pun of the blog post... and all of this happened in the same room as, rizzle kicks, professor green, millie macintosh, louise thomas, reggie yates and many more!
